Infused Waters for the Spring and Summer Seasons

Does the idea of juicing/or smoothie-ing in the morning stress you out? If I haven’t prepped properly (or slept in that morning), it can be a bit stressful and a mad rush. So, I just toss some of the fruits and veggies into my filtered water, and I’m off!

This is an easy and tasty way to get water into your daily routine, especially if you’re not a fan of the aquatini – that one is just plain water. Other benefits include a gentle detox (flushing toxins slowly), aiding in digesting, hydration, added antioxidants and vitamin and mineral support.

If it’s hard for you to incorporate water into your routine, adding flavour will help trick your mind into drinking it. There are sweet and savory options depending on what you’re looking for.

Sweet Berry H2O

  • frozen blue berries
  • frozen strawberries
  • frozen raspberries
  • Add as many as you want to filtered water. As the weather warms up, keeping the berries frozen and adding them to water will provide a satisfying cold drink. This is a good antioxidant blend as well as being sweet-tooth-satisfying.


  • fresh mint leaves
  • sliced cucumber
  • sliced lime
  • This refreshing green inspired blend mimics a mojito, without the dehydration. And hey, if you get through the day and you’re still feeling stressed, just add vodka?

    Gentle Detox

  • sliced lemon
  • sliced cucumber
  • fresh mint
  • fresh cilantro

  • pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy finish
  • or

  • grated ginger
  • Add to filtered water for this gentle detox and hydration blend of green and yellow to your water. Cayanne pepper will help cool the body down, while the ginger provides anti-inflammatory properties. This blend also helps pull toxins (cilantro) and aids digestion (mint). If the spice is too strong, leave the cayenne and/or ginger out.

    All the juices can be experimented with and adjusted according to taste. You can play around with the amount for stronger or lighter tasting waters. Make a big batch the night before, or top up the filtered water throughout the day to keep it going. There are some fancy jugs out there specifically made for infusing the water, but you can just toss it into a jug/water bottle/mason jar.
