If you scroll down my feed, like ALL the way down, If you scroll down my feed, like ALL the way down, you will see and read a very different version of ‘Martina.’
In this version, I was writing for you & in a way that protected me.
I wrote to not piss you off.
I wrote to fit in.
I wrote as if my parents would be reading.
I wrote as if I was perfectly put together. 
I wrote to show you I was ‘good.’ 
I wrote to hide truth from ‘that guy,’ and not piss him off.
But really what I wrote, was fluff.
It was filler, pretty, poetic, tip toeing language and content.
What I didn’t write was what I really wanted to say…. 
I didn’t write what my truth.
I didn’t write as an authority of myself.
I didn’t write as my fully expressed self.
I didn’t write anything bold or triggering.
I wrote as if I was scared of being seen fully. 
Because, if I was seen fully, that meant I had to show up fully - And, that was really f*cking scary. 
My energy was not a match for where I was at or where I desired to be. 
I looked at the women online who were willing to write the real stuff, the hard stuff, the raw stuff and the bold as f*ck stuff, and I asked myself, who did I really want to be? 
The girl playing it safe for ‘someone,’ or the woman willing to be all of herself for her? 
It took radical responsibility to declare the latter. 
So, I took it out - I took out the fluff and the BS. 
What happened next, was something out of a fairytale….

Honestly… I get bored really easily. If it’s Honestly…
I get bored really easily.
If it’s not catching my attention on this online space, I’m out. 
It’s why I love artists, truth speakers, and the ones who are willing to go first. 
I am so inspired by them - Even though I’m not brave enough to share all my shit *yet* …. I still feel it when they go. 
When you go. 
When you share who you are. 
When you share your reality - Not the one you think you ‘should.’
So, when we share all the fluffy, feel good, ooey, gooey ALL the time, I’m out. 
This life, this joy, this real life shit - It can be pretty and it can be pretty raw. 
We get to be all of it - All the layers. 
I share both - The raw and the fun. And... 
I want to know you. 
I want to buy from you. 
I want to know what turns you on, and makes you feel ALIVE. 
And, I want you to cut the BS, and get to the real (Reel pun here LOL).

I hate to say it, but... Fumbling over words, Pl I hate to say it, but... 
Fumbling over words,
Playing safe, 
Diluting your message, 
Not saying what you really want to say, 
Beating around the bush, 
Over explaining yourself, 
Filling the space with fluff…
Is not the kind of copy that speaks to your ideal client.... 
And, over-explaining yourself means that you aren’t saying what you *actually* want to say - This can be out of fear, judgment, lack of confidence, and experience.
Insert the “FLUFF” - The stuff we use to fill in space of direct communication. 
If you want to call in the clients you REALLY want to work with, you’re going to need to be really clear in your messaging. Like, drop the airy fairy, fluffy, fancy and poetic - You need to be direct and to the point. 
Fluff messaging is the kind of thing we write when we aren’t confident with ourselves & our offers. 
And, that's not what I want for you. 
I want you to feel like you can confidently stand behind your work, your message, know how to speak to your ideal client, and I want you to express yourself AS yourself. 
Because, it’s the confidence, connection and vulnerability that is going to create that human-to-human connection that drives us to buy.

Well, here’s my unpopular opinion about posting... Don’t.
Don’t post for the sake of posting.
Don’t post every day.
Don’t post, because you think you ‘should.’
Don’t post what everyone else is posting, because it’s ‘trending.’
Just. Don’t.
And, I know what you’re going to say.... 
“But Martina, how TF am I going to get noticed? How am I going to stay relevant? How is my stuff going to get out there, so I can sell my work?”
Quality over Quantity my friends.
Post powerful work.
Post what is in full integrity with who TF you are.
Post potent words that create actual connections with your audience. Post stories that humanize you.
Post work that you are actually proud to put out.
Post words worth reading.
Post with conviction, intention and
Stop. Posting. Fluff.
Stop posting for the sake of posting.
When you post this type of work, you are naturally elevating your work, your message and your presence. 
And, you take the pressure off posting FOR the algorithm, because you have something to stand behind. 
That is what feels better than the rat race of the social media ‘game.’

If you want it to work, you have to be willing…. If you want it to work, you have to be willing….
To be seen - Fully.
To be felt - Fully.
To be read - Fully.
To be rejected - Fully.
To be redirected - Fully.
To be elevated - Fully.
And, to be loved.
Fully.
To be seen, heard, felt, expanded, contracted, and all the things in between.
So many of us aren’t.
We can’t imagine doing it differently than we have been.
We can’t imagine the heartbreak of trying, fucking up and doing it again anyway.
You can sit there all you want and ‘will’ it to happen for you…
But, you have to be willing to go first.
You always have a choice -  Stay the same or don’t.
If you want it to work - Like, really fucking want it to work, you have to be willing to go through all of it.
Not to creep around the hard stuff, but to walk through it with conviction.
Are you willing?
Are you fully willing to be all of it?
If you’re truly willing, let’s go.
Let’s cut the BS that’s keeping you from living and receiving full expression.
